As an Engineering Manager at BT Digital, my role revolves around fostering team culture, developing new processes, and modernizing our tech stack. I engage daily with software engineers, project owners, and senior managers to ensure our product roadmaps are on track and to a high standard.

My role focused on promoting a healthy team culture, creating and documenting new processes and modernising our tech stack. I interacted with developers, project managers and directors daily to ensure we produced high quality work while keeping projects on track.

I moved back into full-time employment following a new opening at Xigen. Making use of skills learned in freelancing to lead a team of developers, lease with Project managers and assist them with client meetings. I worked to improve the tech stack Xigen previously used and push new code standards and project consistency.

I specialized in developing Laravel, WordPress & VueJS applications for various design agencies. This period was marked by diverse projects, improving my skills in these platforms to deliver tailored, dynamic web solutions.

Working independently as the only in-house web developer I looked after all aspects of web projects from build & maintenance to hosting & support. I mainly worked with Laravel developing functionality for clients such as Staffline & Copart.

Primarily focused on small WordPress builds with the support of senior developers. Other duties consisted of working on Landing pages, emails & HTML5 banners for clients such as Epson, NHBC and Sage People.
